Eveline Tarunadjaja

Eveline Tarunadjaja is an Australia-based illustrator who finds inspiration in fungus, textures, and patterns. Her intricate and delicate strokes add more reticence in her subjects who appear to be secretive and mysterious. Artworks like these strike me into imagining a dimension where the characters live and exist. Each piece are otherworldly yet familiar-- an attribute in art that makes the viewer ask questions as to what could be the story behind.

From being a hobby, Eveline is now illustrating full time. She has been involved in several local and international exhibits; publications from Australia and abroad has also featured her in their pages. Her clients include well-known clothing brands Billabong, Anna Sui, and Hurley as well as Penguin publishing.

Eveline's dynamic and evolving style is something to keep track on. Surely, artists like her won't be left unnoticed in the art world. I'd proudly wear her artwork and/or have it hanging on my wall.

Bec Winnel

Having followed the blog Daydream Lily, I found out about an exceptional artist Bec Winnel. There are actually a great deal of things to discover and following blogs allows me to get aware about a lot of stuff. *wink*

I'm struck by the delicate elegance of Bec's artistry. Her female subjects appear to be elements of a dream. The soft tones, fine lines, and flowy strokes help create a mysterious feel. Each face depicted in her pieces represent the gentle beauty and refined countenance of a woman.

Bec celebrates the charm and grace of women in her artworks. She is doing a remarkable job of elevating the essence of female beauty. Her impressive skill in precise illustration is worthy of the number of awards she garnered. It's no surprise when she climbs higher in the ladder of art's hall of fame.

I definitely admire her talent and art. Having a Bec Winnel piece in my possession one of these days is a lovely thought to ponder on.
