X-Process Baguio

Last year, I went to visit the Summer Capital of the Philippines for the first time. Baguio City is situated in the Mountain Province of Luzon where you can enjoy the cold air while sipping rich black Benguet brew, eating strawberries and looking at beautiful flowers in bloom. Sounds like a good way to relax and let time pass.

I did not let this trip pass without clicks here and there with my film cameras though. This place is perfect for the slide films I had loaded for cross processing.

Art for Women by Women

Once again the Baji collective has put together a 2-week exhibit in celebration of Women's Month with the theme "Inunlan ka sa Kalig-on". This exhibition is now in its fourth year and ever since its beginning every year has been a success (thanks to those who spearhead this event). The annual art show is a representation of women's versatility. A woman can be anything she can be and being an artist is part of that. All participating Boholanas are making art for their fellow Boholanas and all women across the globe. We celebrate Women's Month by projecting the beauty and strength of females through art.

Come visit the Baji 2014 exhibit at Galleria Luisa, Gallares St., Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. The show runs from March 23 to April 5, 2014. Don't forget to sign the guestbook and tell us what you think. :]

If for any reason you cannot drop by to check it out, I have have taken a bunch of pictures and posted them here. Scroll down to see the works of Baji collective artists.
