Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

The Pirates of the Caribbean has come to its fourth installment and it has not seized to entertain. New adventures with new characters but the delivery is the same-- perfect, just perfect. Encounters with mysterious mermaids; finding silver chalices; the quest for the fountain of youth takes us on exciting undertakings. The mixture of comedy, thrill, and action boils down to a great movie for all ages. 

This time, the added love story is no longer about Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. Captain Jack's love interest is finally revealed. Angelica, the Latin beauty and wit, fits just right for Jack. Would probably be seeing more of her in the coming adventures. 

Blackbeard was interesting yet his amazing ability was a little less showcased. How he captured those ships and placed in the bottles would have brought more to the movie if there were scenes of it. Barbossa, of course, the "villain turned ally turned king's man turned ally again" will always be one of the compelling personalities in this film series.  Jack Sparrow most definitely is the same Captain Jack everyone came to love-- crazily clever and adorably funny!

Overall, this movie is awesome! We'll be setting out to sea for two more great adventures with these pirates. Aye aye Captain!

Favorite Scenes: Encounter with the mermaids and escape from the Spanish crew. :]

I can't agree with everything this horoscope says but there's a few that hit the spot. Thought I fit more on either the Rowan or the Hawthorn. Well anyway, it was something new and interesting.

PANNA COTTA Recipe

Panna Cotta I made for my sister's birthday

½ cup fresh milk

2 tbsp sweetener

½ tbsp powdered gelatin

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup cream

• Combine milk, sweetener, gelatin, and vanilla in a saucepan. Let mixture stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes for gelatin to bloom. Add cream.
• Over low heat, stir continuously until all ingredients are well blended and the gelatin melts completely.
• Pour into serving cups and refrigerate overnight or until set.
• Garnish with fresh fruit before serving, if desired.

Precious Trouble

The cutest puppy! He looks a lot like his dad. Trouble is an 8 month old Shih-Tzu Terrier Pekingese Chihuahua. He will always be the little darling in the house (although at times he's a brat).

Robot Attack! The Disderi 3-Lens Camera Experience

I recently bought a Disderi 3-Lens Camera and I just love shooting with it. This camera is very easy to use; no complications at all-- just point and click then it goes "ppprrrrtt". And that little robot around the lens makes it even more adorable. It pretty much looks like a toy (well yeah, it's a toy camera) that people who find me using this think it isn't a camera at all. Don't let the cute appearance fool you, I'm telling you the photos produced by this little thing are awesome! The borders between frames appear like an open book which differ from other action cameras.

I'm having a lot of fun with this action clicker. My robot camera is definitely for keeps!
