Everybody has a dream house for sure. Some place to settle, relax, and call home. As for me, my dream home is something made out of a box. Literally. I want a shipping container house. I've been drooling over beautiful designs of these cargo boxes. There are tons of them lying around in docks around the world, hence, using them to build a house is basically recycling. Most of my readings have three things in common to say about this type of dwelling-- it's  eco-friendly, durable and practical. Yup, just the way I like it. I'm psyched to get my own shipping container home. In the mean time... here's a drool fest of lovely shipping container architecture.

Aztec

Here's another leggings outfit I cooked up. I kinda look bulky here but what the hell, I'll post it anyway. Haha. I love the Aztec print of this pair and the colors are not hard to match with other hues that's why I snagged it right away since there were only two of them for sale. The leggings revolution continues...

The Age of Innocence

It is often amusing to reminisce childhood. Those moments in our lives where we don't have to worry about a lot of things, about serious stuff. With typical childhood, all there is to think about are toys, playtime, and whatnot. I miss those times. When I come to think of it, I'm grateful to have fulfilled this stage of my life well. At least I can go on the journey of life with close to zero regression.

The age of innocence is one of the most important parts of our lives. When we go through this level satisfactorily, we grow up to be functional adults with a lot of happy thoughts to remember.

Out for a Sunday date with L and I felt like wearing a feminine number. It's been a while since I wore this dress (this is actually passed on to me from my cousin and it fits me very well). Pairing it with checkered peeptoe flats and handbag to complete the look. Tadah! Ladylike style done. ;]

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

I wanted to see a feel-good movie -- something uplifting and gratifying.  Also one that will satisfy my thirst for quality cinematography and substantial storyline. Here comes The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I've been planning to watch it when I saw the trailer the previous year (unfortunately, the cinemas here had this movie playing just this month). The story progresses from Walter drifting into his outrageous daydreams and later going out there into the real world embarking in actual adventures. It's a quintessential tale of dreaming and living. I don't know why but I'm so into dreams. I'm sort of a daydreamer myself (don't worry I don't space out too much). Teehee!

Ben Stiller directs and stars this crowd-pleasing romantic adventure fantasy comedy-drama alongside actors Kristen Wiig and Sean Penn. Basing on James Thurber's 1939 short story of the same title, the story will show viewers how Walter escapes his anonymous life zoning out into a domain where he is the hero and achiever. Walter Mitty (Stiller) is a Life magazine negative assets manager who takes action when his job and the rest of his fellow workers are threatened. He ventures into an intercontinental search for negative number 25 that's supposed to be the cover photo for their final edition. Following clues left by photojournalist Sean O'Connell (Penn), he travels the globe going through risky and exciting undertakings he never thought he'd experience without having to daydream.

If you are looking for carpe diem theme for a film then you better get yourself in the cinema (or in front of your TV) now and watch this movie. Afterwards, you might be planning on the next big adventure of your life Walter Mitty style.

We had a chitchat with the owner and most of their dish are freshly prepared so it's gonna take a little wait before munching out. For those used to the sweet-style Filipino cooking, don't be surprised when the food they serve tastes a little different. This snack bar strongly promotes cooking without artificial ingredients and breaking the rules of using too much sugar. Upon opening the menu, you'll find an explanation of that on the first page.
