I'm crawling through landmines just to know where you are

Okay, I look like somebody just ditched me on a meet up in these photos. But really I kept looking down to prevent those nasty red eyes. Yeah, I better get a professional camera of some sort but that can wait. Nyaha. I was out with my family for Sunday dinner at a trusty ol' local restaurant, Garden Cafe. I took advantage of the place since nobody else but us were there at that hour and they have good Wild West decorations all around, so why not take photos for an outfit post? *wink*

2 Story Kitchen

A few years back when I was still Dumaguete based and up to when I graduated college, I always visit Cafe Noriter. Aside from the food, the ambiance lures me into spending my hours at that place. Unfortunately, the cafe was closed. There's no need to be sad though because the cafe resurrected with a new name and new location (which turned out to be right across the previous cafe). The coffee shop is still run by the same owner with the same relaxed feel, and even much better arrangement and design. It's now called 2 Story Kitchen.

Adults and children alike will enjoy the place. It's actually like a playground or a study room that you want to stay in all day long. The menu is filled with scrumptious treats from Korean food, burgers, pasta, desserts and sandwiches. Of course, good tasting coffee is served. I wouldn't mind spending a whole day there just refilling my cup 'til there's no more room in my tummy. Teehee! I just love this coffee shop.

Isn't the place inviting? Now let's take a look at the food...

Raspberry Slash, Avocado Shake, Banana Mango Shake

Shin Noodle + Kim Bap

Bulgogi Dup Bap

Kim Bap

Shin Noodles

Iced Vanilla Latte

Ok, one more series of shop shots. I just can't get enough of it. ;]

What are you still doing here? Go and check out the place! ^_^

Beating a Deadline

Most times we complain when we have to meet a deadline that's coming too soon. But when we come to think of it, there's some good that results from it sometimes. We get challenged and we later find out that we are actually capable of beating the deadline. I can hear Barney Stinson saying out loud his epic line, "Challenge Accepted!"

In my case, I thought I wouldn't be able to catch up in creating an artwork especially for the upcoming art exhibit this weekend. I was already planning to submit an old piece that I made when I was still in high school. Haha. With words of encouragement, I was able to finish a drawing that's satisfactory to me. I've done my pencil work "Psychedelic Muse" in a matter of days. It's not the best but at least I've made something I'm happy about.

I dedicate this work to every woman who walks this planet and beyond.

Multiplicity

I bought my Benesse toy camera without any idea that it had an interesting built-in filter-- multiplicity. After having the negatives processed, it's fun to look at what this filter resulted to. It seems I'm seeing double, triple, quadruple! Who says only digital shots get the enjoyment of photo tweaks?

The multiplicity effect is like the vision of someone who's dizzy or about to faint. You might get lightheaded yourself looking at these photos. Sorry about that in advance. ^__^

Check out my toy camera's cool filter:
